Our highly qualified and friendly team of experts have provided mortgage advice since 1989. We understand the need to take time with clients to help them achieve their borrowing requirements. As Associate members of the Society for Mortgage Professionals and with over 40 years of mortgage experience with brokering and advising on mortgages, we are perfectly placed to help you through your mortgage journey.

David Wood (Director)

I was born in Reading and founded Village Financial Services Ltd in 1989. I still enjoy helping customers, particularly when their requirements are more complex.

When I am not working I enjoy golf, fishing, keeping fit, and playing poker. I also enjoy travelling with my wife, Morag.

Craig Power (Director)

I joined Village Financial Services Ltd in 2003 and became a director in 2015, having worked my way up from my initial position as a trainee mortgage adviser.

In my spare time, I enjoy keeping fit and spending time with my family.

Michelle Helmore (Office Manager)

I joined Village Financial Services in 2008, I look after the database and also act as office manager. I am married and spend my leisure time walking our dog, Bella.

Lisa Brown (Para-planner)

I joined Village Financial Services in 2015. I support David and Craig with back-office research support.

Married to Chris, and with two children my life is pretty busy, I enjoy baking when I manage to get some time to myself.
